Hey! I’m Sven!

I was born and raised in Sri Lanka, surrounded by incredible people who are full of talent, hard work, and ambition. Growing up, I saw how eager my fellow Sri Lankans were to contribute, but often struggled to find stable, fulfilling opportunities that truly let them showcase their skills.

In 2012, I moved to Melbourne to pursue my university education, and that’s when I started to see the challenges faced by Australian businesses, particularly in the real estate industry. Many companies were having trouble finding reliable, skilled staff—especially as demand grew. That’s when I realised something: the skilled workforce of Sri Lanka could be the perfect solution.

Talentwire was born from the vision of connecting these two worlds—bringing together the incredible talent in Sri Lanka with the growing needs of Australian businesses. My background, having lived and worked in both cultures, allows me to understand the unique opportunities and challenges faced by both sides. My mission with Talentwire is to create a genuine win-win: Sri Lankan professionals gain stable, rewarding employment, and Australian businesses get access to skilled, cost-effective talent that can help them grow.
